PT Rekayasa Engineering (“RE”) kembali menorehkan keberhasilan dengan ditandatanganinya Berita Acara Serah Terima (BAST) penyelesaian pekerjaan engineering dan procurement support untuk proyek Pembangunan Pabrik Nitrogen Phospor dan Kalium (NPK) Chemical berkapasitas 500.000 metrik ton per tahun milik PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), yang berlokasi di dalam Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Arun Lhokseumawe.

Pembangunan Pabrik NPK ini merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh PIM dalam rangka diversifikasi produk dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada gas bumi. Proyek ini merupakan lompatan bagi RE, dimana seluruh desain engineering pabrik dibuat oleh PT Rekayasa Engineering, dan lisensi proses dari PT Petro Kimia Gresik.
Pabrik NPK ini dibangun berdampingan dengan Pabrik Pupuk Urea dan Amoniak yang masih berproduksi, sehingga efisiensi jarak antar equipment sangat dibutuhkan. Melalui 3D model, RE berhasil mendesain process building dengan luas 1512 m2 dan tinggi 47 m selain itu beberapa value engineering yang telah dilakukan juga pendapat apresiasi dikarenakan dapat menekan biaya proyek.

PT Rekayasa Engineering (“RE”) once again achieved success with the signing of the Record of Transfer (BAST) for the completion of engineering and procurement support work for the Nitrogen Phosphorus and Potassium (NPK) Chemical Factory Construction project with a capacity of 500,000 metric tons per year owned by PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), which is located in the Arun Lhokseumawe Special Economic Zone (KEK).
The construction of the NPK Factory is one of the efforts made by PIM to diversify products and reduce dependence on natural gas. This project is a leap for RE, where the entire factory engineering design was made by PT Rekayasa Engineering, and the process was licensed from PT Petro Kimia Gresik.
This NPK factory was built side by side with the Urea and Ammonia Fertilizer Factory which is still in production, so efficient distance between equipment is needed. Through 3D modeling, RE succeeded in designing a process building with an area of 1512 m2 and a height of 47 m. Apart from that, several value engineering projects have been carried out as well as opinions of appreciation because it can reduce project costs
